Research interests: Development of high-yielding varieties and promising CMS/parental lines and CMS-based F1 hybrids (cauliflower, radish, carrot and spinach beet); identification of abiotic-stress tolerant lines (cauliflower, radish and spinach beet); tropicalization of temperate-specific traits (orange carrot and kale); and development of nutrient-, antioxidant- and bioactive-rich cultivars (carrot, radish and cauliflower).
