Welcome to Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kushinagar

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (ICAR-IIVR, Varanasi) Kushinagar was established in 2005 and started functioning from October 2006 on an area of 20 ha. It is located on NH-28 about 35 km from the district headquarters. The district falls under the North Eastern Plain Zone with tarai conditions. KVK regularly monitors farming situations and provides need-based advanced technologies to the farming community.

The centre acts as a frontline extension system for the transfer of agricultural technologies through training, demonstrations, on-farm testing and farmer advisory services to enhance productivity and profitability of the region.
