IIVR Training Calendar 2026-27

The ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research (ICAR-IIVR), Varanasi, is a constituent organization under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India. The institute works to enhance India's nutritional security through resource-sustainable, economically viable, and environmentally safe vegetable technologies.

To bridge the gap from lab to land, ICAR-IIVR has conducted over 500 training programmes for more than 20,000 farmers, agricultural graduates, and agri-preneurs. ICAR-IIVR—in collaboration with the Association for Promotion of Innovations in Vegetables (APIV)—equips stakeholders with scientific techniques and vocational training to minimize post-harvest losses, promote climate resilience, and unlock profitable self-employment and entrepreneurial opportunities in vegetables and allied fields.
